FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Is this a formal preschool or daycare?
No. Beethoven Juniors is a musical playschool—a play-based enrichment class that blends music, arts, and Montessori-inspired activities. While it supports school readiness, it is not a replacement for a formal preschool or childcare center. The program is rooted in the belief that music enhances early brain development, attention, and emotional regulation. This is why it was designed as a unique offering to supplement your child’s early years.

2. Can I stay with my child during class?
Yes. Parents are encouraged to stay and participate, especially for younger or more cautious children. This collaborative approach helps strengthen the parent-child bond and allows parents to better support their child’s learning journey at home.

3. Why should my child join this class?
This class helps develop your child’s creativity, focus, motor skills, independence, and love for learning through joyful and meaningful experiences. It also gently prepares them for future schooling. If your child is already enrolled in preschool or kindergarten, this is a complementary program that enriches their routine and supports their holistic development.

4. Will my child learn to play piano or other instruments?
Not formally. The children engage in guided exploration of real instruments like the piano, guitar, drums, and violin. They also learn 3 or more notes on melodic bells, tone bars, and xylophones as early preparation for formal music lessons. The focus is on exposure, ear training, and motor coordination—not structured performance.

5. What if my child misbehaves or gets overwhelmed?
That’s okay—it’s part of the learning process at this age. Teachers may gently redirect behavior or suggest a short breather outside the room, accompanied by a parent. Even if children seem too young to understand, we trust that they learn best through repetition, consistency, and a calm environment.

6. Are there worksheets involved?
There are no formal workbooks or handwriting drills. However, worksheets may occasionally be used during arts and crafts or integrated into selected Montessori materials to enhance fine motor skills and early literacy.

7. Can I request a makeup class?
Yes. Students may attend a different schedule for a makeup class, provided it is arranged within 30 days of the missed session. However, this should not be done routinely and is subject to availability.

8. Is there a trial class?
Yes. Trial classes are available at ₱800. Once enrolled, your child may begin attending regular classes within the same week, based on schedule and slot availability.
