School Policies

1. Schedule: Lessons are expected to start on time, with all required materials and equipment.​

2. Lessons: Students are expected to practice regularly and accomplish assignments given by the  teacher 

3. Absence/Makeup Lessons.
If an absence arises due to unforeseen situations such as an accident or family emergency and if the student indicates a desire for a makeup lesson, the teacher will make an effort to accommodate a makeup depending on his/her availability.  Please notify the teacher or the school at least 24 hours in advance regarding any known upcoming absences.  All lessons and make-up lessons must take place within 30 days of the missed lesson. Otherwise the lesson(s) will be forfeited. Failure to attend scheduled makeup lessons will result in immediate forfeiture of that lesson and no credits will be applied. Unexcused absences will not be refunded or made up by the teacher. Frequent absences from lessons will impede progress and may result in a student's lesson time being forfeited. This is implemented as we have reserved the slot for every student with the understanding that they will hold lessons every week. We can't continue to extend up to 2 months to finish the set of lessons as the teachers are paid by the hour. More and more students will need teachers' slots. And this is implemented at any schools.

4. Payment Schedule. Payment is made every month, usually after the 4-week lessons. It is expected for recurring monthly payment to be made on time in order to continue. Any payment is not refundable. Failure to send payment within the week schedule will cause lessons to be temporary stopped. You can continue the lessons after paying the next set. 

5. Teacher’s Absence: A teacher’s absence will be rescheduled in advance. If a student misses a rescheduled lesson, the lesson will be forfeited. We will do our best to accommodate a student’s schedule when offering reschedule options; however, if all available reschedule options are declined, the lesson will be considered forfeited..
Some teachers are fully booked, so moving a missed lesson to the following week may be allowed, provided it is attended. Please note that teachers are paid per session. Repeated missed lessons directly affect their earnings, and as such, we kindly ask students to attend lessons regularly. We value and support the welfare of our teachers as well as our students.

6. Parent Participation. Parents/Guardian are encouraged to be supportive and active participants in practices at home.
